Bio
Jorge Maldonado delivers more than 20 years of baseball knowledge along with coaching experience at both the youth and high school levels. Jorge specializes in quality baseball instruction primarily with hitting and infield positions of the game.
Jorge has played and worked with major league baseball players such as Leo Gomez with the Baltimore Orioles and Carlos Baerga with the Cleveland Indians. Also, including working with coach Kevin Bradshaw from the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Florida. Jorge also worked as a hitting and infield coach for Archbishop Curley High School and winning the State championship in 2018.
Jorge is currently coaching at Archbishop Spalding High School as a hitting and infield coach, and in 2022 Archbishop Spalding won the state championship as well. This makes Jorge the only coach in the history of baseball league (MIAA) to have two championship titles as a coach on two different teams.
Off the field, Jorge loves to read and spend time with his family.
