Adam Schmidt

A native of Baltimore, MD, Coach Schmidt brings a unique blend of leadership and athletic experience to API Baseball Academy. Over the past five years, he has coached soccer, basketball, and baseball with the Green Hornets organization in Severna Park, MD.

Drawing from his background as a Naval Officer and Helicopter Pilot, Coach Schmidt provides a wealth of knowledge as both an educator and a leader. He emphasizes a growth mindset philosophy, using challenges as opportunities for players to learn, grow, and build both individual and team character.

This marks Coach Schmidt’s first year with API Baseball Academy, and he is excited to help athletes develop their skills and confidence on and off the field.
