Ty Scott excelled as a versatile athlete in baseball, basketball, and football during his formative years, but his true passion lies in baseball, where he thrived in the middle infield and as a pitcher. Ty, a dedicated father of three, has spent the last six years coaching youth sports teams. Drawing from his extensive experience as a motivational speaker, leadership facilitator, and educator, he brings a wealth of expertise to his coaching.

Ty's coaching philosophy prioritizes holistic player development, fostering both technical skills and mental resilience. He cultivates character in his players and encourages a 'surprise yourself' mentality, driving players to exceed their own expectations both on and off the field. This is Ty’s first year coaching with API Baseball Academy.
